Cubism is a style where the Paintings are not supposed to look real. This style is characterized because the painters use geometric shapes to show what they are trying to paint. Maybe, you don't know but one of the most celebrated painters of the history develops the Cubism, he is the Spanish painter, Pablo Picasso. Marc Chagall and Georges Braque were other popular Cubism's exponents. According to the experts, Cubism was the beginning of the Abstract style.

Traveling around the Paintings world, we found the Expressionism style. The Expressionism tries to express feelings (diverse feelings) about something specific. These Paintings are full of feeling. As most art styles, the Impressionism was born in France in the early 20th century. Impressionism's works were painted as if someone just took a quick look at the topic of the painting. It is important to mention that the term Impressionism is applied in different arts such as music and literature too.

Post-Impressionism is another artistic movement that followed the paths of Impressionism. However, this movement has a particularity; it was essentially still life and landscapes. The postimpressionists liked to use a lot of colors and shadows. You can see this particularity in the Paintings of Vincent Van Gogh, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Paul Gauguin and Paul Cezanne. There are many ways to appreciate art, visit art museums is one of them.

Lastly, we will see something about the Abstract style. To difference with other artists, the Abstract painters don't paint landscapes, people, or the daily routine. They are focusing to paint all the opposite, for example, they mainly used color and shape in their Paintings to show emotions, Jackson Pollock's Paintings are a clear example of that.
